Early Childhood Special Education

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs provide support and services to infants, toddlers, and preschool children with disabilities and their families. Eligibility is determined through an evaluation process, conducted by school staff, at no cost to parents. If a child is found eligible for special education services, an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for children ages birth to three or an Individual Education Program (IEP) for children ages three and older is written to address the child's special education needs. Parents are a part of the IFSP/IEP team. 

How to refer a child

Anyone can make a referral for a child for whom there are concerns-parents, professionals, friends, family members, and others. They can contact the state-wide Help Me Grow referral system using the link below.
