Opportunity for Parents of Middle Schoolers: Parents in Action beginning October 29

Do you have a student in 6th, 7th or 8th grade in South St. Paul Schools? Consider participating in Parents in Action; a free six-week course offered by South St. Paul Schools. Once a week, the course provides a space for parents to learn from each other, discuss the challenges of raising a preteen, and how to best support your middle schooler’s learning throughout these important years.

Classes will take place at the SSP Secondary School, from 5:30-7:30 PM on Monday nights. Classes begin on October 29 and will meet weekly through December 10, concluding with a graduation ceremony on December 13. There will be a session for English-speakers as well as a section for Spanish-speakers. Free childcare is also provided for your young ones, a free dinner each session, and transportation if needed.
