Community invited to South St. Paul School Board candidate forum

Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 - South St. Paul community members are invited to attend an upcoming School Board Candidate Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Kaposia Education Center. There are 10 candidates vying for four seats on the South St. Paul Public Schools (SSPPS) School Board. Voters will select four as part of the Tuesday, Nov. 6 general election ballot. Each member will be elected to a term of four years, from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2022.

Hosted by the Kaposia Elementary PTA, this forum will allow voters to hear the campaign platforms of each candidate, including why they are running for South St. Paul School Board. Candidates will be given equal opportunities to share their ideas and answer questions from parent moderators from the Kaposia PTA. As time permits, questions will also be taken from the audience.
