    As an IB World Schools District, South St. Paul students and teachers focus on what it means to be a community of learners. Through the IB Learner Profile, our students and staff use a common language to describe and identify behaviors of successful learners. South St. Paul students strive to be Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Risk-Takers, Balanced and Reflective.

    South St. Paul Educational Foundation
    The Educational Foundation was established in 1984 to provide an innovative source of public school funding to support the South St. Paul public schools educational plan. Such initiatives provide enrichment, scholarships, training, and extend the educational effort. The funds provided by the Foundation directly benefit students and staff and enhance educational opportunities.

    Perpich Center for Arts Education
    South St. Paul Public Schools (SSPPS) is one of eight Minnesota school districts chosen as recipients of the 2019-2021 Comprehensive Arts Planning Program (CAPP) provided by the Perpich Center for Arts Education.

    Intermediate School District 917
    Intermediate School District 917 provides service and support to nine south metro area school districts. We partner with our member districts in areas including Special Education, Career and Technical Education and Alternative Learning programming.

    TriDistrict Community Education
    TriDistrict Community Education provides high quality, respectful, equitable, learning experiences for every person in the community - early learning programs, school-age care programs, youth enrichment programs, adult enrichment programs and senior programs.

    Equity Alliance MN
    SSPPS is one of six member districts of Equity Alliance MN that meets monthly to learn, share ideas and discuss the issues of moving toward equitable education systems.
