Welcome Sarah Kaufenberg to Kaposia!

South St. Paul Public Schools is excited to welcome Sarah Kaufenberg as the new Assistant Principal at Kaposia Education Center!

Sarah has been working in education since 2013, serving as an art teacher, classroom teacher, and dean of students before moving into school leadership. Most recently, she served as Dean of Students at Fridley Middle School, where she supported student behavior, school culture, and staff collaboration.

She earned her B.S. and Master of Arts from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and completed her education specialist degree and K–12 principal licensure at Concordia University Saint Paul.

Sarah was drawn to South St. Paul because she believes elementary school is where the foundation for a child’s educational experience is built. She is excited to bring her classroom and leadership experience to Kaposia while building strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
