TriDistrict CAPS Meeting for 2023-24 School Year

Enrollment is opening soon for the 2023-24 TriDistrict Career and College Readiness (CCR) initiative. The TriDistrict CCR Initiative is a unique partnership between the school districts of South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights and West St. Paul-Mendota Heights- Eagan. This partnership is a collaborative effort to guarantee that all students graduate with a plan for their “next step” and has the skills, knowledge, attributes and attitudes to be successful, wherever their chosen pathway takes them.

To support the goals of our Initiative, TriDistrict Schools, in collaboration with community and business partners,
have developed unique and immersive learning experiences for TriDistrict 11th and 12th grade students. Students completing TriDistrict courses earn both elective and required credits.

If of the statements below sound like something you (or your student) would be interested in, we encourage you to learn more about the TriDistrict CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Studies) program.

• Are you interested in earning an industry certification that can be put to use immediately?  
• Do you want to serve in an internship while still in high school, and potentially even get paid for it?  
• How about extensive exploration of a career or career pathway while in high school, possibly earning college credit, and beginning to develop a professional network?  
• And do all of this, while still being able to participate in high school Arts, Activities, and Athletics? 

A virtual information meeting will be held for families to learn more about the opportunities available to South St. Paul High School students in the junior and senior year.
