SSP Girls Hockey Team Qualified for State!

The South St Paul Girls Hockey Team Qualified for the state tournament on Thursday with a 4-1 victory over Simley.  The girls will open the State Tournament on Wednesday evening.  The girls are seeded 4th and will play 5 seed Fergus Falls.  The game time is tentatively scheduled for 8:00 PM but could start sooner or later depending on the 6:00 PM game.  The game will start officially 30 minutes after the 6:00 game ends.  I have included some information for those planning to attend. Tickets must be purchased online.

  • Guests should stay home if they are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
  • Camera tri-pods/mono-pods and “selfie sticks” are NOT allowed.
  •  Xcel Energy Center Bag Policy:
  • Xcel Energy is cashless. All concessions must be purchased with a credit or debit card.
  •  No beverages, food or noisemakers will be allowed to be brought into the facility.
  •   No balloons, laser pointers, noisemakers, air-horns, horns, drums, or whistles will be allowed in the facility.
  • No weapons of any kind including licensed concealed carry weapons, knives, etc. No signs or banners may be hung in the facility. Hand-held signs allowed (can be held by one person)

Streaming- if you can’t attend on Wednesday but would still like to watch the game you can watch online through the link below.  There is a subscription for the service.  The Quarterfinals, 3rd place games, and consolation games will be streamed online.
