Family Advisory Meetings on Equity

The SSPPS Middle School Building Instructional Leadership Team (BILT) is asking families to join us for Family Advisory Meetings on equity. One way the BILT team makes decisions is with feedback from staff, families, students, and members of the community.

The BILT team is hosting a series of Family Advisory Meetings to hear from different groups about what they would like to see in our schools. Meetings are open to all students and families, each meeting will be dedicated to listening to the individuals from groups indicated below.

• Wednesday, January 25- African American
• Wednesday, February, 1- Latinx
• Thursday, February 9- LGBTQIA2S+

Meetings take place from 5:45 until about 7:00 p.m. in the Centennial Room at Central Square.

Some of the questions being discussed include:

• What does equity mean to you?
• What changes and improvements do you want to see?
• What are we doing right?
• What is your hope for South St. Paul Middle School
