Technology Update: March 7, 2024

SSPPS Families,

As we diligently work towards restoring our systems and bringing our staff and students back online, we want to keep you informed with the latest updates in this process.

Staff Back Online

Yesterday afternoon we initiated the process of bringing our staff back online, granting them access to email and our other online educational systems. If you sent our staff an email in the past week, there’s no need to resend that email as all emails have been retained in the system. Please be patient with our staff as it may take additional time to respond to all messages that have been sent.

Secondary Student Devices

All student passwords have been reset. Secondary students will receive their new passwords in their second hour class on Monday, March 11.Teachers will guide our students through the process of updating their passwords on their devices. Student devices will only be active and functional after the password reset process has been completed in their second hour class on Monday.

Elementary Student Devices

All student passwords have been reset. Our elementary teachers will spend time on Monday updating the new student passwords on the devices. Devices for our elementary students should be fully functional for student use on Tuesday, March 12. 

Ongoing Updates

To streamline sharing information with you, we’ve created a dedicated section on our website where we will keep all family updates that come from the district. You will continue to receive those updates through ParentSquare, and the same information will also be available on our website under the Newsroom tab in the family communications section.
