Power Outage at Secondary Building

SSPPS Secondary Families, A short time ago, power went out at our Secondary Building, Central Square, and District Office. Xcel Energy predicts a restoration time of 1:45 pm. With the safety of our students and staff as our top priority and the gap in time, it is unsafe for students to remain in the building. We will also be unable to provide lunch services. Because of this situation and to allow time for families to make alternate plans, High School and Middle School students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. Dismissal will run like a regular school day and buses will be in service.

If Middle School families or any families who have students receiving Special Education services have concerns about their student's safety at home during this time, please reach out to Principal Leah Bourg 651-503-4846. The Middle School field trip to Valleyfair today will continue as normal with the scheduled pickup time of 6:00 pm at the Secondary Building.

Power is on at Lincoln Center, Kaposia, and the CLC. Those schools will continue their day as normal.Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenge.
