Technology Update: March 19, 2024

Dear SSPPS Families,

I am writing to update you on our investigation into the cybersecurity incident that affected our systems in early March. We last shared with you that our amazing technology team was able to get our staff and student devices safely back up and running. We also want to let you know that at this time, we have not discovered any evidence indicating that student data, which is stored separately via a cloud-based third-party provider, was impacted by this incident. If we learn otherwise, we will let our students and their families know as soon as possible.

Please know we are doing everything we can to keep our community safe. Unfortunately, incidents like these are increasingly common, and schools like ours are being targeted on a regular basis.
