Emergency E-Learning Day Wednesday, March 5, 2025
SSPPS Families,
Wednesday, March 5, 2025 will be an Emergency E-Learning Day for all PreK-12 students. The decision came after careful evaluation of the weather conditions and forecast and consultation with neighboring districts, our transportation company, and our maintenance staff, and factoring in a power outage at SSP Secondary. An Emergency E-Learning Day is a way to provide a variety of learning options for our students while they are at home due to inclement weather emergency closing days.
This means students should not report to school today, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 and instead follow the E-Learning Plans for their school. Please watch for additional information from your student’s school and/or teacher.
In addition, the following are canceled for today:
- Kids’ Choice
- Early Learning classes (ECFE, ECSE) and community preschool classes
- All Voluntary prekindergarten (VPK)
- Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Decisions regarding athletics and activities will be made on a case-by-case basis. Coaches should reach out to the athletic department for guidance. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Stay safe everyone.
