St. Paul Winter Carnival Visits SSPPS
The St. Paul Winter Carnival Vulcan Krewe visited both Lincoln Center and Kaposia Education Center ahead of the weekend festivities. Students learned the Vulcan Krewe cheer and received this year's Vulcan buttons.
At Kaposia second-graders gathered in the performance area, as they do each year, to hear the legend of the Winter Carnival. This year, with the temperatures so cold, the students were excited to have the Vulcans there to represent summer and the warm weather!
At Lincoln, the Vulcans waved and interacted with students in the hallways. This year's Vulcanus Rex visited his grandson's classroom to officially knight him as an honorary 2026 Vulcan Krewe member.
The Vulcans left students cheering and feeling connected to a local tradition. The St. Paul Winter Carnival takes place every year at the end of January- inviting families across the community to join in the fun and celebrate winter, Minnesota-style.
