SSP Athena Award Winner 2026, Sarah Willy

Congratulations SSP Senior, Sarah Willy, who was chosen as the 2026 South St. Paul Secondary School Athena Award winner! The Athena Award is given to an outstanding female senior athlete from each private and public high school in the metropolitan area.

In the fall, Sarah was a standout performer in soccer. She earned three varsity letters and was selected All-Conference her senior year.

In the spring, Sarah led the Track & Field team, earning five varsity letters, two All-Conference honors, and three All-Conference Honorable Mention awards.

Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Sarah has demonstrated exceptional leadership. She served as team captain for both Soccer and Track & Field, earned a varsity letter as a member of Student Council, and received two varsity letters in weightlifting.

An award luncheon honoring all Metropolitan Athena Award Recipients will take place in April.
