Student-Led Community Outreach Project- Snow Cones!

Get ready to cool off for a cause! The Community Learning Center's (CLC) Community Outreach class is serving up snow cones to make a difference.

From May 28-30, students will host a Snow Cone Stand outside Central Square Community Center (100 7th Ave N) from 12:00-3:00 pm each day. This fun and refreshing event is more than just a sweet treat, it’s a fundraiser and food drive to support a student-led effort to create care packages for Neighbors, Inc., a local nonprofit supporting South St. Paul residents in need.

The project is part of the class’s mission to encourage students to engage with and give back to their community. Through designing, organizing, and executing the event themselves, students gain real-world experience in leadership, planning, and community service.

Stop by the stand to enjoy a variety of icy treats and don’t forget to bring along a non-perishable food item or a small donation if you’re able. Every snow cone sold and every item donated goes toward creating a positive impact in the community.

Mark your calendars, bring your friends and family, and join us for a cool snack that supports a great cause!
