Celebrating Student Success and Career Readiness
Students from South St. Paul High Schools, Simley, and Two Rivers High Schools came together to celebrate the completion of their TriDistrict CAPS internships. The annual Spring Showcase brings together all four career-focused CAPS programs: Healthcare, Transportation and Skilled Trades, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Information Technology/Computer Science.
Families, educators, community partners, and post-secondary representatives gathered to hear directly from students about their real-world internship experiences and the impact those experiences have had on their future plans. From professional skill-building to career exploration, the showcase highlighted not only what students learned, but how the program is shaping their goals beyond high school.
The TriDistrict Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) program offers students from the three high schools an opportunity to engage in authentic, hands-on learning. Throughout the year, students participate in site visits, guest presentations, practice interviews, and resume development. They gain insights into a variety of career paths and the many ways to earn college credits, degrees, or industry certifications while still in high school.
Congratulations to the TriDistrict CAPS class of 2025 for a successful year of growth, learning, and future planning!
