SSP Athena Award Winner 2025, Scarlett Johanson

Congratulations SSP Senior, Scarlett Johanson, who was chosen as this year's South St. Paul Secondary School Athena Award winner! The Athena Award is given to an outstanding female senior athlete from each private and public high school in the metropolitan area.

In the fall, Scarlett was a high-performing athlete in Soccer. She is a four-time letter winner, was named All-Conference three times, and was selected All-State this past fall.

In Basketball, Scarlett has earned four varsity letters. She was selected as All-Conference Honorable Mention her sophomore year, and All-Conference her junior year. 

In the spring, Scarlett led the Track & Field team with multiple awards including four varsity letters, three All-Conference awards, five All-Conference Honorable Mention awards, and All-State Honors.

In addition to these accomplishments, Scarlett has demonstrated her leadership ability by being selected as team captain for all three sports. She has also received two varsity letters as a member of the Student Council and three varsity letters in weightlifting.

An award luncheon honoring all Metropolitan Athena Award Recipients will take place Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
