A Collaborative Approach to Facility Planning

The District’s 2024 Facilities Task Force, comprising 25-30 dedicated members representing our staff, families, and the broader South St. Paul community, has successfully concluded its four-month initiative to develop both short- and long-term plans that address the maintenance needs and goals of our facilities. 

The input and collaboration from this task force have been invaluable in our efforts to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and staff. Through their collective expertise, the group has identified key priorities that will guide our district’s facility strategies moving forward, addressing aging infrastructure, meeting new legislative requirements, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for everyone.

We deeply appreciate the insights and perspectives shared by our task force members. Their contributions are essential in shaping the future of our district’s facilities and ensuring that our plans align with the needs and aspirations of our community.

District leaders are now in the process of integrating the feedback from the committee to formulate a comprehensive facilities plan for South St. Paul Public Schools (SSPPS).
