2024 School Board Election Results
Voters have re-elected incumbent Monica Weber and elected Paul Cumings and Ryan Duffy to the South St. Paul Public Schools School Board. Six candidates ran for three seats on the board.
The unofficial results (top three elected):
- Monica Weber- 3,522 (19.09%)
- Paul Cumings- 3,507 (19.01%)
- Ryan Duffy- 3,379 (18.31%)
- Isaac Contreras- 3,070 (16.64%)
- Mary Dunn- 2,950 (15.99%)
- Christian Cruz- 1,918 (10.40%)
Current School Board Chair John Raasch and Board Clerk Nikki Laliberte were the two incumbents who chose not to seek re-election.
Each of the newly elected board members will assume their duties January 2025 for a 4-year term. They will be formally sworn in during the first School Board meeting of the new year, set for January 13, 2025.
The results will become official once canvassed by the School Board at its special meeting on November 12 at 5:00 pm (District Office- 104 5th Ave S). The Work Session on November 12 is canceled, the Stakeholder Comments to the Board will take place at 6:30 pm.
