The South St. Paul Public Schools Communications Department supports a variety of internal and external communication efforts for the district. Our goal is to provide accurate and timely information about our school district to our staff, families and community. The SSPPS Communications Department works under the direction of the Superintendent.
District e-News - Bi-weekly e-newsletter sent to family and community.
SixTimes Newsletter - Quarterly printed publication mailed to every district residence.
Annual Report - An annual publication created in 2019 to provided to residents with data and progress on how the district is progressing to meets its strategic goals.
Media Release Opt-Out Form
Throughout the school year students attend programs, activities, field trips and events along with normal classroom routines that support their education, promote community service or encourage positive behavior. District officials may visit your child’s school to cover these special events, and the South St. Paul Public School District may wish to use your child’s photographs, voices, likenesses or student work for promotional and educational reasons. This includes co-curricular activities/athletic program rosters, school yearbook, district/school newsletters, etc.
If you wish to opt-out regarding the use of their child's name or image for school district and/or media purposes, please sign the Media Release Opt-Out Form and return completed form to your school building. This restriction is valid for one year and a new agreement must be signed for each school year.
