Board Meeting Information and Schedule

  • As the pandemic continues to change and evolve, the South St. Paul School Board and district administration will continue to review and modify meeting logistics in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all meeting participants and attendees.

    Beginning September 14, 2020, the South St. Paul School Board will begin meeting in-person using the following guidelines:

    Committee-of-the-Whole meeting 

    This committee session is used to provide orientation for board members on certain areas or programs of the district as well as provide time for discussion of items to be approved at an upcoming regular school board meeting. It begins at 6:00 p.m. at the SSP City Hall. Click here to access the agenda.

    Regular Business meeting 

    This meeting begins at 7:15 p.m. at the City Hall and is open to the public unless otherwise noted. Regular board agenda items include a Quality-in-Action presentation, personnel actions, administrative actions, reports and communications, and policy readings. Click here to access the agenda.

    • Meeting is televised live through Town Square TV on the Educational Access Channel 20 with playbacks of meetings broadcast every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
    • Meeting will also be livestreamed online
    • A recorded version of the meeting will be placed on the District’s website.

    Public Listening Session

    • No in-person public listening session; form submission only. Click here to submit a Public Listening Session comment.
    • Submission will be acknowledged by Board Chair and/or Superintendent on-air during regular business meeting as well as a follow-up to the individual who submitted the form.
  • Board Meeting Schedule

    The SSP School Board generally meets on the second and fourth Monday of each calendar month. All meetings are open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
