Middle School

Our middle school program for grades 6-8 builds on foundational skills while preparing students for greater academic independence and personal growth. Guided by our mission to engage, educate, and empower, students are challenged through rigorous coursework, collaborative learning experiences, and opportunities to explore their interests and strengths. During these formative years, students develop critical thinking, responsibility, confidence, and leadership skills that prepare them for success in high school and beyond.

Middle School Classes

Core classes
Including Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, are fundamental subjects that provide essential knowledge and skills for students’ academic and professional success. Students will engage in real-world simulations, guest speaker discussions, field trips, and curriculum-aligned activities within their core classes. Tailored to align with high school pathways and support their exploration and discovery. Core classes plus Connections (homeroom) are everyday, all year long.

Explore & Support Classes
Explore classes introduce students to various subjects and activities beyond core academics, helping them explore interests and potential careers through hands-on experiences. Support classes are assigned to students based on needs. Classes such as applied math for students needing extra time learning grade level math,  reading intervention, academic supports (IEP), and English Language Learners.

Elective Classes
