Native American Education
The American Indian Education program exists to meet the unique cultural and educational needs of Native American students in South St. Paul Schools. Our goal is to provide meaningful, intentional, and targeted educational opportunities to all Native American students while fostering cultural identity and pride.
Each our Parent Advisory Council collaborates with staff to identify goals for the program in 5 key areas:
- Post-Secondary preparation
- Academic achievement
- Culturally relevant curriculum
- Positive identity development
- Intercultural awareness throughout the district
