School Board

November 2026 School Board Elections

Community members interested in serving on the School Board may file for office during the candidate filing period:
Filing Dates: July 14, 2026 – July 28, 2026

Candidates must file an Affidavit of Candidacy with the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, located at 125 3rd Avenue North, no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2026.

Voters will elect four (4) School Board Members:

  • Four-year terms
  • Term begins January 2027
  • Term ends January 2031

There is also on the ballot one (1) School Board Member:

  • Two-year term to complete the remainder of Ryan Duffy’s vacated seat
  • Term begins immediately following the election
  • Term ends January 2029

Serving on the School Board is an important opportunity to help guide district priorities, support student success, and represent the interests of the community. Residents interested in running for office are encouraged to review filing requirements and submit their candidacy during the filing period.
