Pandemic- Electronic Benefit Transfer

  • P-EBT is a temporary food benefit available to Minnesota families who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Each eligible child will receive, via mail from the state, a customized benefit card with a dollar amount based on a calculation of how many distance- or hybrid-learning days their school used in a given month.

The State will be mailing benefit cards to homes of eligible students at the end of March. For more information, visit the Minnesota Department of Human Services or contact the P-EBT Family Hotline Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., to answer questions about P-EBT benefits. Families may call 651-431-4608 or 1-833-454-0153, or submit questions through the P-EBT Help Form, which is available in multiple languages.

Families having questions about eligibility for free or reduced-price meals should contact the District’s Nutrition Services Department at (651) 457-9429 or epawletzki@sspps.org.
