Volunteer Opportunities

  • SSPPS is looking for volunteers for the Summer Meals Program! Volunteers will be helping with serving food, simple food preparation, cleaning up, counting inventory and making the meal a positive experience for students. The Summer Meals Program is a partnership between Neighbors Inc., United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and South St. Paul Public Schools.

It’s easy to sign up, and you can pick just one shift, or as many as you want. Children as young as 10 can help out if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Youth 14+ do not need an adult. Please contact Scott Andrews at scott@neighborsmn.org and (651) 306-2153 to sign up. Visit neighborsmn.org/summer-meals-volunteers for more information.
